Colouring Flourishes Using Inks Oh wow! This is my last official project making month for 2019. I have totally enjoyed my year of project making for Aunty Vera and after  feeling rather nervous and exhilerated at the same time not knowing if  anything  I was going to make would be good enough, especially after seeing what the other extremely talented ladies in the Creative Team were producing...I honestly didn't think I could do it! But I did!! I am so grateful to Aunty Vera for giving me this wonderful opportunity and also to  the other ladies for all their encouragement...thank you all so very very much! xox I'm starting this month off with a little experiment of sorts and  I'm really hoping it's going to work out as I've pictured it in my mind... Gentlemans' Emporium Desk Organiser Sometimes I feel it's very hard to create a project for the male in your life. But, this project of a desk organiser, I think I may have 'hit the nail on the head' and created a very practical and convenient way for a man to keep his little 'bits and pieces tidy on his desk, especially if he loves to read, as well. The storage book shaped boxes can be used individually or as a set. Stacked side by side or used singular and can hold pens, pencils and anything else that needs a place to sit on a desk. By using the Gentlemas' Emporium paper Collection, it has given them a little touch of elegance. Gentlemans' Emporium Travelers Notebooks Cover Part 2 Have you ever really wanted to try making something after watching someone make it? This cover for my Gentlemans' Emporium Notebooks has been on my 'wanting to -do list' for quite some time and I have finally gotten round to making one. It looked so easy to make when watching another person make it, I ummmed...and arghed...thinking it must be harder than it actually looked...Boy! was I wrong. What I used to Make the Cover: *Gentlemans' Emporium Patterned paper  * A Laminator and a laminating sleeve  *Scor board *Trimmer or scissors *Elastic ( I used black hat elastic) *Charms of your choosing *Corner rounder To start, I chose one of the Gentlemans' Emporium papers that had a wonderful picture on the bottom right hand side, so when I went to fold the cover this image would be on the front of my cover. I cut the paper to 9 1/4 by 8 1/4 inches, making sure to leave that awe...

Gentlemans' Emporium Travelers Notebooks This is such an easy and fun way to make some plan looking notebooks take on an exciting look.  Not saying that the Graphic 45 Notebook Set is plan to start with because each notebook in the set holds a different paper. There is a watercolour paper notebook, a graph paper notebook and also a lined paper notebook and with the outside of each notebook being a craft paper...it is really crying out, 'do something with me'...heehee!  So that's exactly what I did by using the Gentlemans' Emporium Paper Collection. I cut the front and back panel at 8 inches by 4 inches and used some double-sided tape to adhere them to the covers. Magnetic Photo Frames Today I have a wonderful project that can be made to give the male in your life. With Fathers' Day in September here in Australia, I had been wanting to make my lovable son-in-law a very special gift. So, I can up with these adorable handmade photo frames. The pictures I chose had meaning to my son-in-law and I'm pretty sure he is going to treasure his Fathers' Day gift forever.
